See, that’s what the app is perfect for.

Sounds perfect Wahhhh, I don’t wanna

Living with ADHD isn’t just a school thing. It’s having trouble falling asleep, struggling to keep a routine which means being unable to do household chores on a schedule. It means piled up dirty dishes and unfinished art projects. It means forgetting to take out the trash and food expiring because you forgot about it, or just couldn’t bring yourself to cook.

ADHD and depression have a lot of symptoms in common.

I want to do all these things. I really don’t enjoy being exhausted and going through the week on three hours of sleep. I don’t enjoy it when my house is messy. It’s not about not wanting to do those things. But it’s a constant fight against myself to actually get it done.

So don’t tell me that I’m just being lazy. It’s not laziness.

It’s an executive functioning disorder.

Don’t underestimate my struggles.

My brother and his family came over for breakfast this morning.

I woke up at 10.30, having slept through my alarm.

I had invited them over for 10am.

Luckily they took a wrong turn with their bike and were 30 minutes late.

But it kinda sucked bc the plan was to wake up, do the dishes, set out breakfast all fancy. And I couldn’t.

There’s an app for that.

I keep forgetting there’s apps. I didn’t grow up with smartphones, you know? So here’s your reminder.

Maybe that thing you struggle with? Maybe there’s an app. Because there’s an app for everything.

For cooking, cleaning (well, cleaning schedules), exercise, studying, period trackers, etc.

And if you do use an app, let us know.

You just might help us out.

I got my second vaccine this week. The weather was shit (y'all have heard about the floodings in western Europe, right?) but I got to wear my raincoat.

I was really worried bc my colleague was really sick after her second. But I had no issues at all. A sore arm the next day, but nothing else so far.

And yes. They’ve got a selfie wall.
